Born: 23rd April 1808, Middlesex
Died: Unknown

Barbara Hieronymus Bathory (1808-unknown) was the illegitimate child of 'Martha Pendlehill' a reported witch and occult practitioner of the late 18th century. There is no known record of Bathory's father and it is suggested that Pendlehill managed to use the power of the occult to bring forth the birth of her son which for unknown reasons she called Barbara. It is speculated that his first name came from Pendlehill's obsession with Saint Barbara the Great Martyr of the 3rd century.

Birth & Family History

Pendlehill decided early on that she would not give her last name to her first born child but rather give him the name of her father's ancestors', Bathory. The Bathory family line is most famously known for Countess Elizabeth Bathory, the serial killer of the late 16th century who reportedly killed over 650 girls in rather gruesome and disturbing ways. It is still unknown why Pendlehill decided to make this connection with her new son.

Beginnings

Barbara's life on earth was not an easy one. His mother was savagely killed by the far right-witches-clan of Middlesex during his 10th birthday celebrations. She was reportedly knocking up some special dinner for him at their home in Woodhall, when 3 men knocked at the door, entered, tied her up and removed her arms using bread knives. Barbara was made to watch all of this by one of the clan who later spat in his face when they had finished their horrid ordeal. Barbara was left with his armless mother in their home for 3 weeks before anyone came to help.

Middle Life

After his traumatic child experience he was then tried for the murder of his mother by the same clan who murdered her. At these times most of the most powerful people resided in the courts as well as in extreme right wing groups. He was tried and found guilty of her murder at the age of 10 and was exiled from Middlesex for the rest of his life. It was from this quite horrid upbringing that Barbara pursued the path of the Shamen and with the little money he had travelled to the mystical land of South America. It took him nearly six years to complete his travels but eventually he found himself in the Chihuahuan Desert under the teachings of Don Carlos Matus, the great grandfather of Don Juan Matus the subject of the 20th century american author Carlos Castaneda. Don Carlos taught Barbara a huge deal on the subject of transcendence, futurism and philosophy and through his teachings on the local plant Peyote found his spiritual gateway to another dimension.

Dimensional Life

It is at this point roughly around 1828 that Barbara completely disappears from historic books and any factual source. It is speculated that using his teachings he had worked out a way to travel through dimensional space but not time space. It is therefore theorised that he is able to witness every possible outcome at one particular point in time through all dimensional space, making him the only person to fully transcend conciousness and be completely aware of everybody else's being as well as his own. There is no physical proof of this other than in Timothy Leary's book The Psychedelic Experience where Leary mentions Barbara as one of the Second Bardo Visions, The Retinal Circus. Little is known about what actually happened to Barbara, though around 1860 notes where found in the laboratory of then disappeared Prof. Bartholomew Strangeways pertaining to the historic facts of Barbara's mother and to his potential whereabouts. Most of the notes are ill written and can not be deciphered. This has led to various myths about Barbara and the notorious Vexkiddy Years.
